Comprising an internationally experienced team, WAPS continues to uphold its company motto of when it needs to be precise. We have experience in a range of construction projects: from highway construction, mine infrastructure expansion, rail and bridge construction, oil and gas plants as well as general building and land subdivision work.  Overseeing training, operations and tender submittal we are aligned in purpose and focus on achieving goals. Marko Benic

Director / Spatial Analyst

A Spatial Science Professional with 14 years of experience in complex projects within Western Australia’s construction industry and research . Educated at Curtin University Department of Spatial Science.  With experience performing analysis and design with all types of digital data sets. Through time my career has changed from that of a GIS analyst researcher working on State Government Department projects to an engineering construction surveyor. I have a vast amount of experience which can only be gained from exposure onsite. Direct training from Riegl LMS, Z+F and Teledyne Optech relating to their range of laser scanner products. And machine control experience ; having gained system installation, site calibration and digital data generation training both in Australia as well as overseas with product suppliers. I am also a member of the following organisations:

Djuka Benic

Consultant / Engineering Surveyor

Engineer of Geodesy

Djuka is an Engineering Surveyor with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. Educated at the Department of Geodesy in Belgrade he has been working since 1975 throughout Australia. For the last 20 years Djuka has been working as a survey contractor guiding other survey parties on some high profile infrastructure projects in Western Australia; always staying on top by utilizing the latest modern technologies. Djuka participated in projects like the Perth Southern Metrorail Infrastructure Project, Aline East Great Eastern Hwy Redevelopment, AKCMR Boddington Gold Mine Expansion, RIO Tinto Brockman 4 Railway and MESA A Mine Infrastructure Expansion projects and Apache Devil Creek Infrastructure project to name a few. Today Djuka’s role in WAPS is mainly internal staff trainings, tender preparations as well as general part time company guidance. His widely respected and regarded knowledge in the industry is a benefit to all staff and clients.
