Our management team has extensive experience in a wide range of construction projects. Management shares the responsibility of establishing a friendly environment that promotes high performance across all sectors that we operate in. Marko Benic : Director / Senior Project Manager

As a certified PMI Project, Risk and Schedule professional (PMI-PMP®, PMI-RMP®, PMI-SP®), Marko has more than 20 years of project management experience within Western Australia’s construction and research industry. Marko’s ability to manage and solve complex client issues quickly and cost-effectively ensures project schedules and expectations are kept under control. Through time Marko’s career has changed from a Senior GIS Analyst working on State Government research projects to leading the subcontract survey set out on large-scale civil infrastructure, mining and land development projects throughout Australia. Similarly, Marko’s extensive onsite laser scanning experience and Riegl, Z+F and Teledyne Optech product training brings clients increased opportunities to increase value on their future projects.

Samir Derviskadic:    Non-Executive Director / Senior Engineer

Samir has over 30 years of experience managing large civil infrastructure engineering projects in Australia and overseas. As the General Manager of Civil Construction at Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd and Operations Manager for Stabilise Pavement Sarawak Malaysia, recently completed projects include the Pan Borneo Highway, Ulu Sai Rd and Baleh Hydroelectric plant. Samir’s previous positions held in Australia include Operations Manager for Downer Infrastructure, PLWA Group, Cimeco and Brierty Contractors, managing their civil and mining projects throughout Western Australia. Samir’s extensive experience in joint venture establishments, strategic business planning, risk mitigation, cost estimation, contract management and operations management duties will help all clients that engage with WA Precision Surveys on future projects.
